Installing different apps on your iPad is cool. Installing it in one day will make your apps in chronological order, but once you install apps on another day, it will look like scattered apps. This is what I've noticed when I'm installing apps. Some apps are not categorically arranged, to which I wanted for easier location. How can you rearrange the apps?
1. Press and hold an apps until it wiggles.
2. Hold down the app and move to the rightmost/leftmost screen until your desired page comes out.
3. Release.
4. When done, press the Home button to stop apps from wiggling.

Many of my customers are requesting passcode removal of their iPhones. The true sense of removing it is by wiping it to factory defaults. How will you do a factory reset when you doesn't remember your passcode? By so doing, it will wipe out everything on your iPhone: contacts, sms, etc.
1. Connect your iPhone to your computer using the usb cable provided, but make sure that iTunes is installed with the latest version.
2. Turn off your iPhone.
3. Press and hold both the home button and the power button until an apple appears on the screen.
4. Follow the prompt on the display and the phone is ready again. It will be recognized by iTunes too.

On the contrary, you don't need to do the factory reset if you have done a precaution to your precious iPhone. Enable the automatic deletion of passcode after consecutively typing your passcode 10 times incorrectly. By default, it is set to off. So how?
Go to Settings > General > Passcode Lock. Turn it on!

Win7 are usually set to English. How about for those people who don't speak English and wanted to use the computer using their own language? Vistalizator comes in to help. Without reformatting the computer to initially set the language, you can install this multilanguage pack and set to whatever language you require it to.
Here are the steps:
1. Go to this site and install Vistalizator. Go back to site then look for available language packs, like Arabic, Spanish, Chinese, etc., then download your language packs. Save in your desktop for easier storage. MUI stands for Multilanguage User Interface. Your download usually has MUI on it.

2. Double-click on the downloaded file so Vistalizator window will open. Click on Add Languages, and select the file that you saved in your desktop, and finally click Open.

3. Click "Install Language" and wait until this finishes the installation.
4. Confirm window will come out saying "Done! Do you want to make Arabic language the new display language?". Select Yes.
5. Press OK. And you'll notice that there are 2 languages installed on the Vistalizator window (2nd image from this blog) English and Arabic. Click Exit and the computer reboots.

If for some reasons you wanted to downgrade your blackberry software, if your new software has a lot of bogus applications and or problems, follow these steps:
1. Connect your blackberry to your computer, but make sure that Blackberry Desktop Manager is installed.
2. Open BDM, and check if the blackberry is recognized. If not, remove the blackberry again and put it back.
3. Click Device > Update >If there's no update, the computer will show you "There are no Blackberry Software update available." Otherwise, you can update your blackberry to the newest.
4. Click on "View other version", then you will see somewhat like the picture above.
5. Select your best operating system by selecting it and clicking "Install".
You're done!

For iPhone addicts, these set can be used for simple photography works. I was fascinated when one of my colleagues brought the 8x telephoto lens and attached to his iPhone. Checking the settings and taking pictures with it, it's quite a remarkable addition to your iPhone. Hippy when no one else uses such or at least 1 out of 100 thousand people who owns iPhone have it. Then it make one's iPhone revolutionized, otherwise, just take your DSLR with you. Nothing compares to the wider, longer, crisper output of those cameras. These accessories are for fun, easy, and enjoyable snapshots. For starters, wide angle lens are used to take wider pictures, not panoramic but "close" to it, the idea is the same. Macro lens are used for like getting a clearer view of an up-close photographs, lets say a document, or a dew on a leaf. On the other hand, when we say 8x optical zoom, this is usually the selling point of cameras, the bigger the optical zoom, the farther you can take the images closer. And for fish eye lens effect, instead of the usual rectangle as a result of your picture, it will turn into a circle, just like your reflection when you look into an eye. But this type of lens is a no-brainer since you can edit your pictures from photoshop and make it with fish-eye effect. There you go, the lenses that are available on e-bay are like $50, more or less.

There are sources that controls sound on the computer. With this post, 1 is from the computer, the second is from additional software installed for the sound card/sound device of the computer, and the last is the software like Skype.
So if there are no sound coming out of the computer, the enabled device might not be of the speakers of the computer, but rather of the headset, so double check.

@ Skype, go to TOOLS > OPTIONS > AUDIO SETTINGS
1. Microphone - set internal
    Check automatically adjust microphone settings
2. Speakers - set default / internal speakers
    Check automatically adjust speaker
Then Save settings.

You would like to transfer whatever files you have, like SMS, contacts, calendar, notes,  on your old blackberry to your new blackberry phone but don't know the exact process, you have come to the right place. For any version of blackberry from bold to torch to curve or vice versa, it will do.
1. Install the Blackberry Desktop Manager into your computer. After installation, if it asks for update, pls do so.
2. Connect the old Blackberry phone into the computer. BDM will recognize the phone. If the phone is not recognize, wait for some time or disconnect and reconnect the phone.
3. Once it is recognized, on BDM, there is "Back up now" button beside "Device Options". Click this and save the file into your desktop for easier location of the file.
4. Once done, disconnect the old phone, and connect the new phone. Wait until BDM recognizes the phone. If not, disconnect and reconnect again.
5. Click on Device tab on the upper left corner of DBM, and select Restore.
6. Get the file from your desktop until it finishes.
7. You're done! All your info from old phone was transferred to new phone!
NOTES: BBM messages will not be copied, but the contacts will be.

iOS5 is the latest of the operating system for devices such as iPad, iPhone, and iPod Touch.  Upgrading your old iPhone or other apple mobile devices into iOS5 will not guarantee the users free of defects. There is a major leap from 4 to 5 with the latest of specs and features for the OS, that is why it is always a rule of thumb to wait for 5.1. This will be a better choice since whatever problems that surfaced in the iOS5 will be straightened out. Some of cool features of iOS5 are:

1.    iMESSAGE. Text, photos, videos, contact and location messaging between 2 apple devices is free. Group messaging is enabled as long as all devices are connected to wifi or 3G.
2.     NOTIFICATION CENTER. All notification comes into one place, with a selection of notification types like banner notifications, classic pop-up notifications, or no notification???
3.   TWITTER. For that twitter-addict, there is already integration into iOS5. New Tweet sheet supports multiple accounts for photos, camera, maps, youtube, and safari.
4.     PHOTOS.Built-in photo editing app.
5.     iCloud, if you know what it means then it is included.
6.     NEWSSTAND. All-in-1 display of your favorite magazine and newspaper app subscriptions.
7.     REMINDERS. Nothing new and not a super-updated application for smart phones.
8.     CAMERA. From the lock screen, you can use the camera app for unexpected moment.
9.    SAFARI. A new world of safari interface is presented. An update into the iOS5 will bring the experience you haven’t felt from the previous browser.
10.   PC FREE. Without connecting to your computer, you can update, download, upload anything into iCloud. No mess anymore.

This is the new app that you see when you download the "back up and restore' apk file from this site through the browser of your phone, wifi or 3G.
Problem: There's no more back up and restore app from Android market after updating the firmware of Sony Xperia X10 to 2.1. How to read the file .sbf that was saved when the app "back up and restore" was used before updating the Android 1.6 to 2.1?

Steps:
1. Use "back up and restore" app on your phone, save to SD card.
2. Update the firmware of your phone through PC Companion, when you connect the phone to computer. (if you dont have the PC Companion installed,  this should be done first).
3. After installing the new firmware of your phone, connect the phone to wifi, and browse in Android market for back up and restore: nothing. Do this, on your browser, type http://www.elita-clan.com/downloads/backup_and_restore_v010935.apk. The phone will display "start downloading" while the browser will give an error message.
4. Check from your Downloads app, then install the "back up and restore" app. Give authority for the installation.
5. Now you can restore the .sbf file that you saved into the SD card and recover contacts, messages, missed calls, etc.

Sony Xperia X10 is boasting of specifications, but most  websites or blog are displaying those specifications, that I will try not to post, but rather on how to reset it to factory defaults. Doing such will make the phone brand new (firmware wise), because all your date will be lost.

I. When the phone is still accessible, go to Settings >> Privacy >> Factory Reset. You have the option to erase everything on the phone and by checking the box for SD card, it will reformat the SD card too. Not unless you dont want to reformat the SD card, dont tick the box.
II. If the phone is not accessible anymore, turn off mobile, remove battery and put it back, press and hold the left and right buttons at the bottom part of the phone then press the power button. Follow the instructions that follows. This is how to hard reset your phone.
