x-men: first class 09/17/2010
The next big thing for x-men fanatics is the movie x-men: first class to be shown next year, June of 2011. Directed by Mathew Vaughnn, who directed the famous Stardust way back 2007 and Kick-ass of this year. In this movie, young Charles Xavier (who was later called Professor X and the founder of X-Men) and Erik Magnus Lensherr (named himself Magneto, after his mutant powers of controlling things that can be magnetized) met at Oxford University because of their geniuses: Charles for his excellence in physics, calculus and chemistry; while Erik known for being linguistic over French, German and Hebrew, not to mention English of course. The two became the best of friends and built Cerebro, but is separated due to their differences in political views about how humans and mutants should occupy earth and still have harmony with one another. Charles chooses to be the peaceful in tackling the issue while Erik brainwashed mutants to be superior than humans and should reign the land with force if someone opposes their virtues. Why is the title first class as such when it's almost about the teens of Charles and Magneto is at forefront, how they became allies then foes? Shouldn't it be the first class under Charles that we are talking about?About the first students: Cyclops, Jean Grey, Beast, Iceman, and Angel's life getting into X-men? Whatever the outcome of the film is, I would definitely watch it bcoz I'm a fan of x-men ever since childhood.
