For the 2nd time (Sept4,2010), I accompanied her to Zayed University in Academic City, Dubai to complete her IELTS exam. We're praying that it will be given to us. After that, Canada here we come...

The university is awesome, unlike other universities from the Philippines: it looks like the inside of a mall. They have this open area maybe a cafeteria or something where a see-through ceiling is built, managed landscape inside (though mostly plastic trees and/or shrubs), couches of differing colors and sizes, tables and chairs to have chitchat with friends and enjoy the break after class, wide walkways, and the building itself is a great modern architecture that I haven't seen in other places...so far. 
"Studying in this university must be expensive", as one of Kabayan commented while we roam the Ramadan-themed decorated place.
